The installation of solar panels is an important part of the current energy transition. Every year we install solar panels, charging stations and batteries at thousands of households and companies. As we continue to bring new innovative products to the market, we are looking for a special project manager to join the team.
The function
In your role as Special Projects Manager, you will be involved in all processes relating to the development and coordination of the company in the Netherlands and you will learn how to scale a company. Executing various projects across different domains (such as marketing and development etc.).
You are responsible for preparing, executing and realizing various projects throughout the business value chain. Working directly with the Country Manager.
You ensure that the entire process runs smoothly, maintain an overview and regularly report on progress and, in the event of deviations, resolve them to the satisfaction of the business.

This is what you will do
- Support the strategic and operational design of the business.
- Help us to set up and coordinate various strategic projects across the business.
- Support in numerous teams and cross-topic processes and projects such as HR, marketing, sales and administration.
- You are actively involved in the leadership of the company and set new impulses independently.
- This function is mainly performed (at least 4 days a week) at the office in Groningen
- Working for an international b-corp and making a direct contribution to a more sustainable world
What are you bringing?
- At least 2-3 years in a management consulting or similar position
- HBO working and thinking level
- A solution orientated and self starter individual
- Have problem-solving skills, are proactive, flexible and you can switch quickly
- You can put yourself in the shoes of the customer and understand how projects should be managed properly
- You live in Groningen or the surrounding area and you are available 40 hours a week
- Do you have no experience in the solar energy industry yet? That's no problem. Within our Soly Academy you follow a 2-week training program as part of your onboarding.
