Job Description
At STEM Recruitment Solutions we are working with our client who are looking to recruit a Stores Administrator based in Livingston.
Duties:
· Responsible for procuring consumables and stores items.
· Coordinating purchases and closely monitoring run rates and usage to ensure timely placement of purchase orders.
· Keeping track of lead times and minimum stock quantities and updating the ERP system accordingly to optimize stores planning.
· Providing assistance during on-site audits conducted by customers or suppliers to ensure compliance and transparency.
· Identifying and implementing improvements in the layout, processes, and ERP system used in the stores department to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
· Conducting periodic stock takes as required to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock levels.
· Executing stock transactions and updates through the ERP system to maintain real-time inventory data and streamline inventory management.
· Handling various ad hoc tasks related to the stores department as needed to support smooth operations and address immediate requirements.
