Guided by our expanding pipeline and organisation, we are now recruiting a Business Coordinator supporting our Oncology /Hematology cancer teams. The position can be placed in any of our Nordic offices.

The role

This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to build international experience by working across the Nordic countries, different internal functions, and suppliers. Our team of Business Coordinators ensures all tasks are completed in a professional and efficient manner and that all documentation is compliant and correct. We act in a fast-moving environment and go the extra mile for the collective good of the team without compromising on quality.

In this role, you bring people together and capture x-functional business needs for the planning and execution of projects and events, such as speaker-led meetings, congresses, scientific meetings, and advisory boards (both medical and commercial). In particular, you will support the Nordic Brand Manager with administrative tasks around marketing material and additionally our Nordic Oncology Head for around 20% of your time. The complexity of this role therefore requires to remain focused on priorities in line with set timelines, and have the right personality to secure close collaboration. Alignment in the planning and execution of activities through regular updates on progress, defining ways of working, and communicating in a x-functional structure is critical for success.

What we need from you

We are a trusted partner to the business, we’re on a mission to make AstraZeneca more agile, efficient and effective. You therefore need to have commercial insight from similar roles to be able to allocate time and resources to successfully finish planned projects and activities as needed within the relevant Franchise team. A documented certification/education in Project Management is highly desirable, but not essential.

You will be the point of contact for different functions within the organization. Strong communication skills and partner management are hence essential. You need to be proficient in English and one other Nordic language and have a track record of coordinating activities involving multiple partners, internal and external processes and systems preferentially from the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Experience with omnichannel marketing approach

  • Solid understanding of how to apply digital platforms and tools to ensure an integrated AstraZeneca approach in execution of projects, meetings, and events

  • Ability to follow and design processes for x-functional collaboration

  • Experience from working with Veeva / Promomats is preferred

  • Proactive and result oriented attitude

  • Flexible, with the ability to adapt to changes in business needs and partner requirements
